The Clinical Director of Residential Recovery Services has the primary responsibility of supervising the daily milieu, programming, and treatment services as well as day-to-day functions of the Residential Recovery Program. The Clinical Director of Residential Recovery Services will oversee and may provide assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of the treatment for clients in the program. The Clinical Director of Residential Recovery Services will oversee and supervise the day-to-day job duties of an assigned team including the Residential Services Coordinators, Therapists, Case Managers, and Peer Supports. If issues within their assigned team arise, the Clinical Director of Residential Recovery Services will be responsible for developing and reviewing supervision and performance improvement plans with the team member.

Education: | A Master’s Degree from an accredited university in a clinical field, i.e. social work, counseling, psychology is required. |
Experience: | At least 5 years of experience with Substance Use Disorders and/or Co-Occurring Disorders is required. Experience in residential SUD programs is preferred. At least 3 years of experience in supervising staff and program operations preferred. |
Specific Skills andrequirements: | Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have strong leadership and organizational skills. Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and insurability. Must have excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Technical requirements include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other applications used by the organization or regulatory agencies. Ability to understand and relate to the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to read, write and converse in English. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen. Successful completion of a background screening. Successful completion of a TB skin test or proof of a negative chest x-ray or other documentation. |
Specialized Licenses or training: | Independent Licensure or independent license eligible required. Maintains 40 hours of Annual Training through Relias or other appropriate sources, including 16 hours of Safe Crisis Management training. Attend at least 20 hours of training each year in alcohol or other drug abuse. Maintains at least minimum training for licensure. Attends all assigned training specific to job assignment. |

Supervisory REquirements: | |
